so today i got a call from Chet and Rick to go surfing with them but my surfboard was at my grandpa's house so i told them i would come down for a bit to watch them and such. so i went down to the city beach but i got there and i couldn't find them and i needed to get home to get ready for sunday dinner at my grandparent's house so i left...and i didn't get to go surfing :( ah well, fall is coming and there will for sure be some good surfing days. if you ever want to go with me... give me a call!
swimming is kicking my ass. we have morning practice everyday from 6-8 which sucks because then i'm tired for the rest of the day whether i get a nap or not. swimming's a very draining sport. when school starts i'll have morning practice every monday, wednesday, and friday then afternoon practice for 2 1/2 hours everyday. PLUS, on monday's we have weight lifting, on wednesday we have circuit, then on friday we have the dreaded Pedro tape. it's this insane workout tape instructed by this mexican man who i guess is an Olympic swimmer? it sucks. but regardless of how hard swimming may be and how much it sucks at times... i absolutely love it and i'm soooo sad that this is my last season :/
a couple nights ago i went to molly's house and hung out with katie and molly...it was sooo much fun. i love those girls so much. isaac and his friend mikah, from Kentucky, came over and mikah played the guitar and sang to us... he was AMAZING, as is this band that Ted was listening to that i fell in love with... you should all check them out -> www.citizencope.com (then click on CopeRadio to listen to their music) they are spectacular! |
